Life Prizes Award 2008

The Life Prizes Award recognized the pro-life efforts of six individuals who are serving in the movement to protect life at all stages. The winners were welcomed by Laura Ingraham who emceed the evening, the Christian rock band Barlow Girls, and hundreds of guests showing their appreciation for the winners. The common theme throughout the evening was wrapped in a humble “thank you” from each recipient.

The evening was hosted by Laura Ingraham, with musical guests Barlow Girl. The award ceremony was the idea of two individuals. The Gerard Health Foundation’s Ray Ruddy and his wife Marilyn. Together they are dedicated to saving lives through their world-wide financial initiatives. Mr. and Mrs. Ruddy developed the Life Prize Award as a way to support, encourage, and thank those who are protecting life.

An award of 100 thousand dollars went to an eclectic group of individuals: Jill Stanek, Lila Rose, Richard Doerflinger, Kay Coles James, Margaret “Peggy” Hartshorn, and the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Brad met with each winner earlier in the day to talk about what brought them to this point and what their future looks like.

This episode is dedicated to covering this historic award ceremony, so you don’t want to miss it.
